Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has died.

Iran’s President, Ibrahim Raisi, tragically perished in a helicopter crash amidst foggy weather conditions in the mountainous terrain near the Azerbaijani border. The charred remains of the helicopter, which crashed on Sunday, were carrying President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir abdollahian, and six other passengers and crew members.
